North China Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. is located in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province. Its predecessor, North China Pharmaceutical Factory, was a key construction project during China's First Five Year Plan. It was set up in June 1953 and put into operation in June 1958. It created the history of large-scale antibiotic production in China and made important contributions to the cause of human health, the development of national pharmaceutical industry and the change of the situation of lack of medicine and medicine in China. In 1992, North China Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd was restructured and established, which was listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1994 (stock name: North China Pharmaceutical 600812). In January 1996, Huabei Pharmaceutical Factory was officially restructured into Huabei Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., a wholly state-owned company. In June 2009, Jizhong Energy Group restructured the company with the approval of the Hebei Provincial Government.
